Management Development
Leaders are not born. We offer assistance in helping you enhance the leadership and management competencies that are most relevant to you, your career, and your organization. Whether your role is that of an executive, senior manager, mid-level manager, first-line supervisor, or team leader, we can help. Many corporations have explicitly established the managerial competencies that they expect in their leaders. While such lists vary across organizations, most have in common a core group of competencies centered around relationship management, self-management, technical, and strategic skills. Our approach is first to identify what competencies are important for you, your organization, and your career. While this might be a very straightforward task, more often than not it requires a comparison of perspectives (i.e., you and your manager) and a clear understanding of your current and potential future roles. Then, we measure your skill levels using methodologies appropriate for that competency and then work with you to develop an action plan and follow-up protocol. This is a short-term service. We quietly work with you and then quietly exit. In some cases, we will come back for quick visits.
